1. Who we are

Backlink Request is operated by Altic LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. You can reach us at support@alticllc.com.

2. Information we collect

When you use Backlink Request we collect:

  • Account data: name, email, password hash.
  • Site data: URLs, descriptions, industry, and SEO profile fields you provide for sites you list.
  • Exchange data: requests you send and receive, messages, placement URLs, verification results.
  • Payment metadata: we never store card numbers. Stripe processes payments and we keep a customer ID + the last-4 / brand of your saved card for off-session charges.

3. How we use it

To run the platform: matchmaking, sending requests, charging accepted exchanges, sending you notifications about your account, and complying with legal obligations.

4. Third-party processors

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Neon — database hosting
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Resend — transactional email (when configured)
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging — mobile push notifications (when configured)
  • Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — anonymous traffic analytics, only loaded after you grant cookie consent

5. Cookies

We distinguish between strictly-necessary cookies and optional analytics cookies. The analytics cookies only load after you click Accept all in the consent banner. You can change your preference anytime via the Cookie preferences link in the footer.

Strictly-necessary (always on):

  • authjs.session-token — keeps you logged in across page loads
  • authjs.csrf-token — protects sign-in forms against cross-site request forgery
  • authjs.callback-url — remembers where to send you after sign-in

Optional analytics (only after consent):

  • Google Tag Manager + Google Analytics 4 — sets its own first-party cookies (_ga, _gid) to measure aggregate traffic patterns. We don't enable advertising, remarketing, or cross-site tracking features.

We do not sell or share your data with advertisers. Reject the analytics cookies and the platform still works exactly the same.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data while your account is active and for up to 30 days after account deletion, after which it is permanently removed from our production systems. Backups containing your data are retained for up to 90 days before being cycled out. Payment and billing records are retained for 7 years to comply with U.S. tax and accounting law.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing support@alticllc.com. If you're in the EU/UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

We'll post any changes to this policy here and update the “Last updated” date.
